Their most recent project was based on the challenge to compose and record a Dub album within a week! Released in the past 17th September, the result is a creative and fascinating journey into Dubwise entitled, The Grasspoppers presents: Dub inna Week!

9 original songs cooked in a relaxed atmosphere at their home studio Abyssinia Studios 03, where the roots essence in Dub music never fails, with heavy bass lines, quiet riddims, and plenty of effects to extend our imaginary into a journey through the endless world of Dubwise!

The vocals… echo and teach, here and there, with prominence on tunes such as: Complicação Dub and Rootsman, with Milton Gulli; Tunda featuring Prince Wadada and MC Faradai, or Safari Dub and Folha de Feijão Makonde with Marisa Gulli reinventing in great mood, Dub Poetry style!

The album´s intro, in tribute to the master King Tubby, summarizes the topic in mind for Dub Inna Week creation process: ‘Let´s make some Holy Ghost Crazy Noise!’
Uncompromised Dubwise, free for everyone to listen and get, Dub inna Week will surely be a landmark, and elevate the spirit, of the still shy, Portuguese Dub scene!
